    The Opportunity

    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Senior Manager for the ValuMetrix Consultant team that is field-based. This is a remote position with responsibility for North America.  Our preferred candidate will live near a major aiport and be able to travel up to 75%.

     

     

    The Responsibilities

    The ValuMetrix Senior Manager is responsible for the entire client consulting relationship team. Primary responsibilities include being project director and team leader for targeted solutions sales and assigned client Process Excellence assessments and engagements throughout North America (NA). These Process Excellence assessments and engagements span a continuum of services from projects that are developed in conjunction with Ortho Clinical Diagnostics product sales teams and projects that are developed with clients that desire organizational or department transformation using Lean training and concepts.

     

    Promotes collaboration and solutions between the ValuMetrix activities and other teams within Ortho Clinical Diagnostics ie) Sales, Service, Customer and Technical Support organizations.  

    • Leads the strategic alignment and direction of the ValuMetrix Team in the NA Region and interfaces to the ValuMetrix Teams in the rest of the world.
    • Develops and Maintains the skills to provide P3 engagements where required to improve customers operational performance for Ortho customers
    • Ensures the ValuMetrix team contributes pro-actively with the sales and marketing process to achieve and exceed the sales plans by maintaining industry leading performance in constructing the best projects for the clinical laboratories, by providing the right training, the selection of the right tools, access to relevant information and best practices.
    • Supports the Valumetrix team members in achieving the team and personal goals.
    • Empowers the “team work” within the Valumetrix team and with business partners, Sales, Marketing and Customer Care.

     

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Delivery of presentations for potential prospects and industry trade groups.
    • Project development, project leadership and project implementation.
    • Monitors, tracks and periodically reports on engagement satisfaction and financial performance.
    • Lead identification and actual upsell within current client sites and for potential new business opportunities.
    • Utilization of skills in Lean methodologies, change management, team development and project management.
    • Establish and cultivate executive relationships within the healthcare space.
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to expectations is key to the successful performance of this role.
    • Plays a leadership role in the development of new or enhanced service offerings that fit client needs and the ValuMetrix business plan within North America.
    • Develops publications and presentations to promote awareness, differentiation, value and education of consulting offerings to customers.

     

    The Individual

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Medical Technology or related field is required
    • Masters degree is preferred 
    • Minimum 3 years of "Lean" experience with demonstrated success 
    • Six Sigma Green belt required; Black Belt certification is preferred
    • Expert project management experience is required 
    • Strong Diagnostics experience is preferred
    • Healthcare Consulting experience preferred, with multiple cycles of implementation that met or exceeded client expectations and contract deliverables
    • People management experience is preferred 
    • Must have demonstrated cross-functional leadership experience
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are required
    • The ideal candidate must have strong financial skills 
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) are required 
    • Demonstrated ability to cultivate executive relationships and interface with individuals at all levels within the organization 
    • Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally 
    • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
