    The Opportunity

    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Manager of North America (NA) Product Sales Training who will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction to the NA Product Training Team.  This will include the development, execution, and effectiveness of NA product training strategy and demonstrate experience working with a variety of training methodologies and media.  This position will be responsible for the delivery of product training and have a thorough understanding of all lines of business and demonstrate the ability to generate new ideas, recommendations, and strategies to support NA Product Training.

    The Responsibilities

    • Partner with NA Learning & Development (L&D) & Global L&D leadership team and NA Marketing on the strategy, creation, execution, and effectiveness of 18-24 month product training calendar that aligns  to NA Clinical Laboratories (CL) an Transfusion Medicine Lines of Business (LOB) goals 
    • Responsible for understanding  company training philosophy and confirm all company activities are developed and designed with operations in mind
    • Responsible for the development, execution, and effectiveness of in-role training strategies and programs that will enable the commercial organization to exceed product specific targets for revenue, profitability, instrument placements, menu expansion, and win &  retention rate
    • Responsible for the new hire CL, Automation, Informatics, and TM product training
    • In partnership with NA Marketing, responsible for the annual L&D Area Sales Meeting strategy
    • In partnership with Global L&D, responsible for ongoing assessment and roadmap of learning technology
    • Collaborate with NA & Global L&D team to ensure internal alignment and implementation of training plans for new and existing sales people in NA.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse set of peers and colleagues across organizational levels
    • Manage/coach trainees through classroom and field phases of sales training program
    • Effectively facilitate the sharing of information to enhance overall training and people development solutions
    • Use of the competency tool when coaching to develop skills, knowledge and competency.

    The Individual

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
    • Minimum of 4 years of healthcare experience and at least 2 years of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required, and preference for previous training / L&D and/or mentoring experience
    • Excellent leadership, strategic, communication and project management skills required.
    • Variable travel, but up to 50%
    • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
