    The Opportunity

    As the company continues to grow we are seeking a Clinical Chemistry Scientist- Service that will be responsible to consistently display the ability to perform and lead troubleshooting management for assay issues on one or multiple Clinical Lab platforms with defined troubleshooting methodologies. This role is responsible for providing knowledgeable and clear assay insights and excellent communication skills internally as well as externally which includes customers, sales, Technical Support team, Field teams and regulatory


    The Responsibilities

    • Manages escalation of customer clinical assay issues
    • Use statistical analysis and clinical chemistry knowledge to define troubleshooting/investigation plan
    • Work both individually and collaborate with a team to investigate and solve very complex assay problems across several different technologies
    • Clearly explain and present technical information within and outside of the organization (i.e. technical support team, medical personnel at all levels, Field team
    • Provide assay training to Technical Support team
    • Travel to customer sites to provide onsite advanced assay troubleshooting
    • Interacts successfully with customer leaders and influences key opinion leaders
    • Drives and leads mentoring through organization

    The Individual

    • Clinical chemistry background, medical laboratory experience is a plus, Advanced degree preferred
    • Minimum of 5 year’s clinical /laboratory experience. 
    • Experience conducting root cause investigations.
    • Strong communication skills-able to lead teams.
    • In depth knowledge of assays and their clinical significance.

    • Data analysis (excel, Minitab)

    • Understanding FDA and global regulatory authorities’ diagnostic device regulations
    • Ability to travel up to 10% domestic travel as needed. W
    • Working outside normal office hours due to time zone differences may be required.
    • A valid driver's license and clean driving record and passport is required
    • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
