    The Opportunity

    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Manager for Inside Sales resources within the Customer Operations team. Responsible for training and development of Inside Sales resources and for identifying additional opportunities to leverage the Inside Sales team across the broader Ortho organization.


    In alignment with the Director of Customer Operations this position is accountable for reinforcing strategies that support the Field Sales and Health Systems teams.

    The Responsibilities

    • Customer Retention (Retain/Grow): in collaboration with Area Director Customer Experience develop strategies and tactics where Inside Sales can support retention, revenue, and upgrade initiatives.
    • New Customer Acquisition Support (Win): in collaboration with District Manager Business Development (CL and TM) develop strategies and tactics where Inside Sales can support new customer acquisition in designated customer segments.
    • Strategic Planning: Work with teams to achieve long and short term goals by monitoring leading indicators and performance measures of all sales & marketing programs.
    • People Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop Inside Sales Representatives. Manage and coach ISRs to meet annual objectives through the development of business skills, product knowledge, and market development
    • Talent Development: Work with Learning & Development team to develop initiatives that optimize team productivity, drive bench development, and support organizational talent cross-pollination
    • Cross-Team Coordination: Establish clear rules of engagement for effective collaboration between Inside Sales, Health Systems team, Customer Experience Team, and Business Development team.
    • Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales and provide sales input and market environment analysis to support the development of mid and long term forecasts.

    • Meet overall lead generation and marketing campaign goals
    • Meet contract renewal support goals
    • New business acquisitions goals
    • Meet overall revenue goals

    • Director, Health Systems

    The Individual

    • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Sales Background: Minimum of 2 of management experience in telephone sales, telemarketing or related field
    • Industry/Domain Knowledge: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Healthcare Industry is preferred
    • People Management: People development skills and management skills for entry-level staff
    • Business Acumen: Proficient at uncovering key business issues and providing insightful, actionable recommendations for improvement
    • Communication: Advanced listening, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Minimal travel of approximately 10% will be required
    • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
