    The Opportunity

    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Senior Manager of Transformative Marketing (“Manager”) who will be responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated digital, content marketing, and customer engagement strategies focused on the clinical laboratory and transfusion medicine customer communities (“customer”) in North America (“NA”). Through strong leadership and comprehension of the true needs and expectations of the customer, the Manager will lead a team of marketing professionals to produce and distribute valuable, relevant, and consistent marketing content and programs supporting commercial sales, field service, technical support, and customer excellence efforts that is aligned with the objectives to deliver business results at or above expectations for the NA commercial organization. Working closely with stakeholders on strategy and program development, the Manager and Team will build strong pillars of content and curate impactful “customer stories” aligned to the buyers’ journey that attract and engage new target customers, enhance existing customer relationships, and build product awareness. In collaboration with the Global Corporate Brand and Communications department, the Manager and Team will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of marketing at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. Manager will design and execute an integrated digital strategy aligned to NA commercial organizational objectives and the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence, which will align the work of the digital marketing manager, CRM excellence and content strategy to cultivate quality lead generation with a view to drive revenue growth for our products and services.  Manager will lead a team of marketing professionals to execute digital plans that drive qualified traffic acquisition through various digital channels (e.g. paid search (e.g. Google Adwords, pay-per-click) / organic search (e.g. SEO, email marketing, social media), online advertising, social channels etc.) and implement nurturing programs to convert traffic acquisition to qualified leads to increase sales win-rates as well as support our existing NA customer base.  The Manager will translate business goals into a well-defined CRM strategy with demand and lead generation programs encompassing campaign management and inside sales functions in NA. Manager will also lead the development and the execution of cross-functional strategies to improve customer engagement, renewal, and advocacy - all based on a deep foundation of customer insights and analytics.

    The Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership, direction, management and development to the transformative marketing strategy team as well as the rest of the NA marketing organization.
    • Manage and represent external partners and vendor partners (e.g. SAP Sales / Marketing Cloud, Salesforce.com, MailChimp, Pardot, Marketo, SurveyMonkey etc…)
    • Manage email campaign strategy and execution, reporting and analysis
    • Measure, Analyze and Optimize Digital Marketing end to end effectiveness / performance across all channels against objectives (ROI, KPI).
    • Support on-market product and new product introductions by managing and producing content for different digital media to deliver an integrated customer experience.
    • Manage and drive search engine optimization/marketing programs and reporting and analysis. Manage and implement test strategies to drive qualified traffic and revenue-binding activities
    • Prepare and at times present business updates for monthly/quarterly operating reviews, NA / ELT meetings and customer presentations & events
    • Drive engagement and market knowledge through field travel, internal relationships, customer visits, trade shows and attendance of sales team meetings and effective communication. Manager ensures excellent collaboration across marketing, sales and commercial excellence.
    • Organize, plan and deliver exceptional experiences for annual sales meetings and key trade shows (e.g. AABB & AACC)
    • Integrate customer knowledge and market data to ensure both on-market and future products and solutions have a strong value proposition for both the customer and the company.
    • Ensure all marketing content and programs adhere to corporate brand, communications and legal policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines.
    • Actively participate in all business planning efforts (e.g. marketing plan, annual operating plan (AOP), monthly/quarterly operating reviews, as well as ad hoc projects etc…) including market research, analysis, providing insights, presentation creation and delivery.
    • Work closely with Ortho Clinical Diagnostics Digital Marketing Center of Excellence to ensure marketing content is optimized to achieve and maintain best-in-class content across on-line and off-line channels.

     

    The Individual

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, ideally in Business, Marketing or IT.
    • MBA is preferred but not required
    • Healthcare experience is a plus but not a must have.
    • Minimum of 10 years of proven digital marketing experience (company or consultancy) including 5+ years of proven experience developing/managing digital campaigns is required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a staff of 5 or more employees is required
    • Strong knowledge of and comfort with a variety of digital technologies and services (web, mobile, social, online tools, inclusive of content management systems, CRM, IoT, and web analytics) is required
    • Proven experience developing winning marketing content strategies preferably in the healthcare industry
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Experience in working with cross functional teams with the ability to manage teams remotely, to influence and take initiative.
    • Strong collaboration, communication, presentation and platform skills, analytic acumen and organizational abilities
    • The ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and to deadlines.
    • Ability to travel approximately 20%, primarily domestic
