    The Opportunity

    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Minneapolis Region.  This is a remote position.

     

     

    The Responsibilities

    The primary objective of the Regional Sales Manager is to lead the Region to successfully meet or exceed established sales quotas and margins. This includes reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and work with marketing to develop sales campaigns to accommodate sales goals of company.

     

    The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for direct staffing, interviewing, training, and performance evaluations within the Region including providing training to new representatives in the areas of sales skills, product demonstrations, and territory management.  Additional responsibilities include: appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; analyzing sales to assist representatives in promoting sales within their territories; monitor and execute control of territory expenses such as travel, entertainment, advertising and promotion; representing the company at trade association meetings to promote product; and working with other Regional Sales Managers to ensure open communication and coordination of sales training efforts and company sales goals.  The Regional Sales Manager leverages key relationships with internal and external Senior Leaders to achieve current and future strategic goals.  The Regional Sales Manager develops and executes strategies for advancing Ortho's trust and credibility with external stakeholders, and aligns long term partnerships with our key customers.

    The Individual

    • BA/BS in science or business or related field required.
    • A minimum of 3 years of proven successful healthcare sales experience required, with completion of management development program.
    • Hospital medical device/diagnostic sales experience is required.
    • A minimum of 3 years of healthcare sales management experience is preferred.
    • Ability to travel up to 60% overnights is required.
    • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
