    The Opportunity

    As Ortho continues to grow, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is seeking a SAP BW/BI Lead to support Management and Operational Reporting for all functional areas within the corporation globally. Develop, document, and implement SAP BW/BI policies and best practices.   SAP environments are S4/HANA, BW on HANA and two S3 SAP instances covering SD, FICO, CRM functional areas.  This role is based in Rochester, NY. The SAP BW/BI LEAD plays an important leadership and senior architect role in our Information Services Group.  This position will work closely with the senior management of our departments, enabling Ortho to make informed decisions with data analytics and cognitive tools across all platforms (desktops, laptops, tablets, and Mobile apps).

     

     

    The Responsibilities

    • Manage BW projects utilizing the Offshore and Onshore team ensuring quality and timely delivery. Tasks include leading functional and technical meetings through the entire life cycle to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business.
    • Support and troubleshoot production systems as required, optimizing performance, and resolving production problems.
    • Data architect designing and developing Global Data Warehouse on HANA, tasks include ETL and View creation.
    • Configure and maintain BW Open Hub to non-SAP systems
    • Fosters day-to-day client relationships to support on-going and future business needs.
    • Work with Basis and Business teams in design and implementation of BW strategy for various applications
    • Interface with Senior Management, IT managers, developers, and users. Provide expert technical direction on usability and best practices.
    • Assist the SAP Services Team to create best practices, standards, procedures, and documentation for BW solutions

     

    The Individual
